"His" signature - "Our" guitar

One of our marketing folks told me that somewhere in our building is a Telecaster (its a guitar) signed by the man himself. We will be putting it up in one of our display cases along with some Cobra related toys.

I tried to get them to allow me to park my car inside to help with the display but they weren't going for it.

Signed by Leo Fender??

No, Mr. Fender has long since departed this world.

Mr. Shelby, on the other hand is still with us, pen in hand. Today, I will try to find the office the guitar is hiding in.

CS signed a matched set (painted Cobra colors of course) earlier this year that were auctioned off for charity at Barrett Jackson.

Jim, you going on Saturday? Not sure if we have met

Jim,

Yup, I do work for Fender. 101 Fwy and Chaparral. Just had the signed piece in my grubby mitts and spoke with the guy doing the display. Gotta see what I can round up to add to the glass case.

Congrats on your order - who did you go with?

See you Sat.

Jeff

Bob,

Glad you like them. Our Mexico facility builds a great product. Spent 2003 in our Custom Shop in Corona.

Dream job - yup, and I don't even play. Great folks to work with.

Jeff, hows the Grestch merger coming along? I own a 6120 & was hoping to eventually get a White or Black Falcon as you get some of the "Gretsch Re Issue" Issues cleared up.
