427 S/C Cobra

Does anyone know what the market value is right now on an original 427 S/C Cobra. I know this depends on the year, history of the car, and what shape it's in. I know the market is depressed right now too. I'm doing some research for a friend. Any input would be helpful.
Thanks,
Scott

500k is a good starting point.

I was offered a beautiful original s/c two years ago from a reputable local specialty car dealer for 350K , but since no cash changed hands i guess its still "hearsay"
