That's pretty much what my place looked like 25 years ago (sigh) 'Civilization' will catch up with you too Jason, I can just picture the Starbucks over on the left. ;)

Monkey cage gone and just a cement slab. FRICKEN HOT OUT THERE!

Irrigation is expected to open up to the home owners in several years (The canal runs along the back of the property) Once that happens, planting big trees.

Future plans is to add on to the right of the garage, the garage would be redone and turned into a master bedroom. THe edges that outline the garage would be cut and the enclosed wall would be stuccoed to match the rest of the house so it does not look like it used to be a garage. THinking of big bay window with a bench built in the wall for the wife. The 3 car garage and workshop would be built to the right of the garage longways headed back. Picture the house as an L shape. But of ocurse it is simply a vision right now and will have to wait. The goal is in 5 years, we shall see how close I come to it.

Front landscaping and U- shaped driveway in the next year and backyard landscaping in the next year is the plan. No grass, all desert landscaping and misting system. If we do plant grass, it will be for the dogs.
