Wanted: welder/fabricator

Fellow Arizonans:

I am looking for a local welder. Probably one with a plasma cutter and some skill. I am hoping to fabricate a new pedal arm to match my lokar throttle.

The current brake arm is too clunky and too high.

I am not sure how complicated the pedal assembly is, but I am a certified welder, own a lonestar, and have Gas, and Arc capabilities. If you aare not in a rush I can Tig at work. If you have the same set-up as me, it is the Tilton brake/clutch assembly. That assembly is made of steel so it should not be hard to modify. If you are looking for a shop try Anthem, or G. Levy......

I was wondering whether you had contemplated anything different with your pedals. Because I have an automatic tranny my pedals don't match. I am hoping to have a an arm cut from 1/4in flat stock then welded, reinforced, and chromed to match a real nice lokar throttle setup that came with the car from Lone Star.

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it. I have gotten used to the pedal placement, but I still hate the way it looks and the wife won't drive the car until it has a more natural throttle to brake transition.
