Real TV on TLC Tuesday 10PM

Just saw the new Ford Shelby Cobra (like all of our replicas). One bad ass car. In the future this show will have customer rods and sports cars. The cobra looks like a new version of the old roadster but with a 10 cylinder engine and dynoed about 600 HP. This show was 1 hour long and showed Carroll hot dogging 360s and burning up the track. Look for it in the future some time. I have Cox and again it was on TLC called "Rides" Tuesdays 10PM.http://C:\Documents and Settings\Bob\Desktop "Everything is always for Sale for the right price" :D :3DSMILE:

Fitz,

I am going to watch it tonight. I have been watchig the commercials for it with great interest and it looks as it could be a great show if they don't screw it up later on by going to just one type car as so many have. I get it on TLC channel 178.

Ron :)

If you missed it, like I did, it will be on again on Friday.

I heard the new cars were going to cost $46,000 Loaded................Am I full of crap or what? %/

I saw the show last night and at first the car didn't look all that great but at the end of the program it turned out to be an awsome looking car. I still think the old body style is nicer to look at but the new one is still hot. I would be amazed if the price were $46,000 considering they just made the ford GT and it is priced over $100,000 with 100 less horsepower. If it is that price I will be buying one.

You got that right!

Fitz,
No offense, but you very well might be!

Fitz:I'll bet the engine cost more than 46,000

I don't recall where I read it this week, but the article stated that if this car goes into production, it is supposed to be priced competitively with the Corvette.

Fitz 01-08-2004 09:35 AM

Watching the Show, I was under the impression this car is going to go into production and this week at the Detroit Auto Show was it's big showing.

The Green liberal, save the trees, save the owls, drain the reservoir draining, build only quiet electric car wackos can buy this car with a 4 cy electric engine if they like. Ford will give you a cd player with big speakers so it sounds loud (as in good). :3DSMILE: :D

Seems to me when first announced the 40 was supposed to be about 75K. If that was the case then the new Cobra should hit the floors with about a $85,000 sticker!
