Punkin Center??
Anyone up for this tomorrow? Do they have food there? I haven't been there in 20 years.

I go up there all the time to my boat at Roosevelt Maria. Take a look? It is called "FitzUs" out on J dock. Food availability in Pumpkin Center is not good except for the bar/restra by the big Pumpkin sign. There is a another place at the filling station (I think it is a 76) and it has 91 octane gas there also. It is a bar and decent food; Bid screen TV and all. Figure 1.5 hours from Shea and 87. If you go from Globe there is a place just towards Globe from Marina. It is not bad either and there is a gas station there too.
Watch the cops...they hide especially from 87 to the lake.they hide especially from 87 to the lake :CRY:

If you go up to the Marina here is what it looks like. Actually I was thinking about having a run up there sometime anyway. Have to get this set up before it is 110 out.

Fitz, had lunch at the big pumpkin. Do these people get the paper or any TV out there? Everybody that came in said "who's car is that?". The owner wanted to trade for the restaurant! No thanks. Good burger though. I had to wait around an extra 20 min. because the waitress's daughter was on her way with a camera. Nice ride.
