Donor Car Disposal
What is the best thing to do with the donor mustang? eBay, junkyard, part-out, sell as a package..... I have an Az 92 Conv Mustang that is in really nice shape, just missing lots of parts.

Wait till MikieC is at work and dump it in his front yard. The neighbors already hate him.

Parted out?
Would this be a good shell for a race car? how much is gone? complete running hardware? is the body intact........ Working on a house with a huge garage and side yard for just a project.....

Brian,
If he used all the parts necessary for the FFR then what you have is basically a shell. No runnung gear, no suspension front and rear, no wiring etc, no gauges .... jdazcobra... you should be able to part out the doors, seats etc.. Or just call a junk yard. Mike |
Thanks. This is the donor for the FFR so, yes..... it is a bare shell without any running gear, instruments, wiring, etc. The kit is almost done so I will be ready to get rid of the leftovers in the next couple of weeks.

Jim,
My daily driver is a 90 so I might be able to use some of what is left. Can you email me a list of what is still usable? Jeff |
Scrap..............
Don't forget that scrap metal has gone up 100% in the last couple of months because of the Chinese market. That shell might be worth a couple of bucks at the scrap yard............

Jeff,
The body is in great shape, no rust or damage (Red). The interior(Red) is so-so, typical drivers seat wear etc. The airbag is OK. The exhaust system (minus sensors) and cats look good. Stereo is functional but some of the speakers were not good. All glass is OK. The conv top is worn but no major rips and tears. The pump and cylinders for the top are good. All else.....now part of the FFR. JimD |
