Jim,

I sent an email out for this run.

I'll not be able to attend. Lot's of yard work needed around the house and 4 cars needing oil changes and greasing.

Have fun,

Mike

mrpink 03-19-2004 01:45 PM

Mike, bummer. Hire someone to do that stuff. OJ, you gotta go. What if we get hassled by the man? If you don't go, can we borrow your badge?

mikiec 03-21-2004 05:42 PM

Well, where is the update? Who showed ? How cool was it up there?

Inquiring minds want to know. OK, I'm nosy.

Mike

Mike, just got back. Suzan and I went on to Heber for the nite. We had Dave S. and Gloria, Brian and Barbera, Steve M., and Jim. Great weather, Dave has some pics. Christopher Creek is running right below the patio.

mikiec 03-22-2004 10:59 AM

Jim,

I got some pics from Dave. Heres the best one:

Mulv 03-22-2004 12:38 PM

Too bad we don't live in the New England area... we wouldn't be sunburned.... it was 97 in town when I got back Jim...

For the caption it should read, "I'm not as think as you drunk I am".

JB34 03-22-2004 06:35 PM

Hey, Mr. Pink,
Could have used that evap cooler on the way back down the hill.

Thanks for lunch. Let me know when they report another road kill...I really wanted to try the Elk.

BPWilliams 03-23-2004 05:41 AM

Thanks!

Mr. Pink I sure am glad you decided to sleep once you got there instead of on the way up! that wouls have been a mess on the first turn   Had a great time thanks for lunch and the cool ride, nothing like hitting that 98 deg wall going 80........**)
I still can not get my trunk open, will need to dissamble now:confused:

L8R...................

Brian

mrpink 03-23-2004 06:06 AM

Brian, what's the matter with the trunk? I swear I wasn't near it!! I think I saw Jim with some Superglue around there.
Driving these cars on twisty roads in the pines with little traffic is a nice change from sand and cactus. It's nice to be in a state where you can drop 20 degrees in 1.5 hours. I'd like to do more northern AZ stuff this summer.

BPWilliams 03-24-2004 09:31 AM

Trunk

OK here is the scoop..............

Last night I had to disassemble the latch from under the rear of the car to get the trunk open. You see, I carry a roll of tape and Scissors in the trunk to block off the oil cooler when it gets cold (not to often in AZ) and....... The scissors got stuck under the latch causing it not to open. %/ %/ So next time I will put the scissors behind the seat!

Later...............

Brian
