Collins College need info
Hello from down here in balmy Louisiana,my daughter will be graduating from high school this spring.... She has been writing to and looking into a large number of colleges..... The one she is most interested in and they are equally interested in her is Collins College in Tempe Arizona.....She is interested in and also very good in graphic design and that sort of stuff,actually wants to work in Detriot one day and design cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know squat about Collins College or Tempe Arizona..... Looking for any info,good/bad/ugly before my wife and I take a plane ride out there.... Location;is it in a good area???? School itself;is it worth a darn????? Would you or have you sent any of your kids there or know of anyone who went there?????? David I have not heard anything bad about that college. I know that they seem to be"the place to go " for graphics. not much help but all of tempe is college town as that is where ASU is. That whole area seems to be OK no major crime besides drinking at the bar. :LOL: :LOL:

Thanks Brian,all input is a help,I've looked at their web-site and things look good, would like some more feedback from others if possible, will also be looking into some housing ............My daughter's not really a "party animal" and drinks very little if any,right now she is more interested in getting a good education and job than partying all night....She also knows dad will NOT foot the bill for a good time,but for a good education....
Not easy to send your only child (daughter at that) half way across the country away to school,not like we can drive over there at a moments notice for something,it's a 24 hour drive from my house......... Thanks again; David |

Thanks Gordon,will do later today,as we are planning a trip out there in May to check out things,would love to come by your shop while I'm out there,can always tell the wife some story (she does not like old cars or Cobras too much)......
