Breakfast Part Deux (Deuxieme Partie)

Greetings

I went to the 5 and Diner in Scottsdale and it is perfect for our breakfast club... Although Mike is correct that you cannot see the parking very well from inside, they have seating for 30 or more outside on the patio which is directly adjacent to the parking lot so you can watch your car if you like. There were only about 6 cars in the entire parking lot and 3 of them belonged to the staff, so the odds of a parking lot whack are non existent. They play cool music from my youth as well and have pretty good food. It is directly across the street from the McDonald's that has the car show, so some of you can check it out while you are there.
I will go next Saturday as well and hopefully some of you can make it. This was the high point of the Cobra group in the Bay Area, it would be really great to do this here as well..

5 and Diner Saturday at 7:00

Steve,

I sent out an email to the gang regarding your Sat. AM breakfast club.

Hopefully, you'll get more next week.

Mike

Where are we going after breakfast Sat?

Mulv 03-31-2004 12:54 PM

Actually, breakfast and car stuff is the only plan... This is a way to get together in the morning and allow the rest of the day to be free... What did you have in mind?

mrpink 04-02-2004 10:52 AM

Well now it looks like staying home and keeping dry. I got snowed on this morn. coming down the rim!!

I am trying to convince myself to get up at 5am to make it by 7am. I am not a morning person at all.

Now, it depends on the rain. Yeah, I know I have a rain suit.

Mike

Guys

There is no rule that says either:

A) that you have to be on time, although all of the BACC members will attest to my prompt arrival...

B) That you have to bring your Cobra in the rain... I have no intention of arriving in a hot tub...

Usually breakfast takes quite a while as we will tend to tell terrific tales of derring do and of course the ever humourous stories of woe about the latest mechanical fiasco... I expect to be there at least two hours.... maybe longer...

It is also a good time to plan events..

Steve
