I'm finally back in the saddle. Boy, What a wait! Here's my Baby: See you all tomorrow at the picnic if my oil and water leaks aren't too bad.

Hey Bob,
What kind of oil and water temps are you running in the summer months? What do you do to combat overheating? Part of my family moved out to Glendale 20 years ago and I remember in July you couldnt even leave a metal tool outside for long before it would give you 3rd degree burns. Dane |
Dane, all of my over-heating, fuel boiling problems are gone. Many small steps guided by Randall Thomas. He set me onto Problend 40 Below, Problend Oil additive, 180 degree balanced thermostat, phenolic spacer, fan switch, etc. They all add up.
I run at 80 degrees centigrade (160 degrees farenheit) for both water and oil unless I get "on it". Bob |
