Hello Jim. Thank you for your concerns. I am home from surgery. I am told all went well. I hate hospitals. My recooperation istructions include no lifting over 10 lbs, bending, exercise, driving long distances for up to 4 weeks. Drinking lots of water, peeing like a race horse (havn't done that for 10 years), passing blood clots and basically do nothing. Only pain is bladder spasms. More information than you need to know. Doc says work this week OK since I don't lift, etc. I may need help going to the men's room since I am not permitted to lift over 10 pounds.
My sunburn is pealing from Saturday's picnic. I am still on the Fun Run. Time will tell. I will leave you with this: Few events stand out in a lifetime: Wedding day, Birth of Children, Graduation day, Receipt of New Cobra, Well I have a day to add to that list: REMOVAL OF CATHETER DAY! |
