Yes it cuts it nearly in half. We got rid of the Ford Explorer and opted for a Nissan Frontier. The Ford road nice but sucked the gas and was quite useless for me. I need a truck with a bed living out there. Can't haul much crap in an Explorer and what you can haul will tear up the interior. *In hick voice, "Can't haul much hay!"*
No I haven't been up there yet (Rustler's Roost), just started a week ago. Back to doing auto claims. Kind of nice to return to auto, get paid the same with less think'n and less mental stress!:D So far we ahve been living out there for a year now and have come aross what seems to be dead dogs in the 100's (Indians and the white folk) let their dogs run wild. Fricken sad. 1 dead horse on the road that was struck, 1 dead cow, Coral Snake (when I was tearing down the old chicken coop) and 2 rattlers and a number of coyotes and wild dogs. Out here you can't shoot the wild dogs unless they are attacking your livestock. Reminds me when I was a kid growing up North outside of Mayer. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Hope to see you guys soon, I really do miss everybody. Just because I don't say much doesn't mean I don't care. Besides I miss giving Barb a hard time.:3DSMILE: |
