July 4th Weekend
Hey Mikiec and Mr. Pink [the Vampire], (Mike and Jim) I got my room reserved at the Best Western in Heber for Fri and Sat nights. Mike and I are planning on driving up Friday evening if we don't melt, and probably back Sunday morning. Now I can stay for the Barby, beer and fireworks after the parade. Did i say Beer?

Bob, great news!! Left Heber this morn with my heater on @ 5:30 am. 2 hours later I'm in my air conditioned house. 55-85 in 2 hours. WOW!! Went to a little car show in St. Johns. July 2 Fri nite: Happy hour and dessert my place Sat. morn my place for donuts, parade, back to my place for a barbie then maybe a run to Snowflake or something. If the room is still in my name just change it over to whoever. I gave them my card number to hold; now boys don't go using it for beer. Should I call the place (like i still have the number?) and tell them anything. Mikie, I will let it go so they don't give it away. Just pay for it with whoever's personal card or $$. Have fun!

Hey Mrpink, I'll be back from the DVSF IV in time to make your Fri. evening party. I'll attend with one of my sons-in-law , can you give me the time, place, and can I bring anything ? John

John, love to have ya! I will give directions in a week or so. Tucson to Heber is a little ways. You are a manly man! I would get a reservation at a motel ASAP. Heber is booked up. Next closest is Forest Lakes Lodge, 15 miles away. 928 535 4727. If they have no rooms, there are tons in Show Low 30 miles away. Actually John, Fri nite will be fend for yourself dinner, with happy hour and dessert @ my place later. Some people are coming up Sat morn. and some are arriving late Fri. nite, so I thought Sat. nite for the dinner would be better. Killer fireworks Sat. nite so, make a reservation for Fri the 2nd and Sat the 3rd. More to follow.

Jim, I checked with the Sawmill Inn. I am still reserved for Friday and Saturday nights. Dropping cobra off at Anthem tomorrow to replace passenger side CV boots.

No Corvette? What a shame!! That vacant room is like gold. If we don't find someone in the next few days, Fitz will have to cancel.
