Payson run - June 24th
Hey Mike,
I won't hold you to it, but has there been any responces to this 6am run? I'm on the west side (like you) and I'd hate to drive all the way out there only to find that red Corvette sitting there. Also, as requested here is my e-mail for your records. rickmadik29@yahoo.com Take care, -Madik |
From what I have heard there will be 4 or 5 souls venturing out there.
Mike |
Let's do this one naked!
|
Hey, Jim
You gonna make it????????????????????? |
Well.... I'm in (unless that naked thing comes into play).
I guess that would make 5 or 6 souls. -Madik |
6am up to Payson sounds like so much fun - a little early for me but if i had wheels you could count me in - My transmission is still at Hughes Performance - I call them every morning and they say it will be ready in the afternoon - i don't know what the delay is but as long as it is fixed correctly --
If it is ready tomorrow afternoon - I might make it - either way have a great time and safe trip -- Larry be safe in Germany jim |
Mikie, I'm trying.
|
I'm in.
|
If you want to come over tonight, while Ginny and I go out, and put in my motor mounts then I can be in.

Mike, stay home. Ginny can work the hoist.
|
We are getting ready to go out. Someone reading over my shoulder says 'HOIST THIS'
Have fun tomorrow. Mike |
Well????
Who went? How was it? Motor mounts are on. Mike |
We had a capital time! We had Dave and Paula, me and Mike D., Lyle, Steve, Larry and Elka, Craig and his son in their new FFR, and Manny driving some strange vehicle. We were forced to stay behind an AHP car for about 1/2 the trip up. Mike D. was instructed to take pics but he blew it. Glad your car is fixed.
|
Umm...
And I was there! If I'm going to wake up at 5am to meet you east siders...... I'd at least like to get credit for it. Jeez. MADIK |
Sorry Madik. I knew there was more. I gotta quit sniffing so much glue!
|
Paula and I had a great time today. Despite the getting up at 4:45 am. the trip was fun. It was a nice way to say 'bye to Larry D.
After the breakfast I got to swap some more flying stories with a pilot buddy of mine that flies "air-attack" for the Forestry Service. Made it back to PHX just in time to prove the old adage "only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" Larry - Gutes Glück, Sie benötigen es! Dank für die Meßplättchen. A new placard for your car "sitzen Sie hin und halt die Schnauze" :3DSMILE: Thanks everybody .... Dave & Paula |
A fine send off to Mr Larry and his wife. Thanks for the ride Pink.
