Tucson-Kartchner Caverns tour & Open House
All Arizona Cobra owners are invited to attend a tour of Kartchner Caverns with the Tucson Cobras on Subday, October 10th. We will take the basic tour, the cost will be about $19.00 per person, that includes entry into the State Park. The tours are for 16 people at a time with 20 minutes between tour starts. For the Phoenix guys the caverns are about 30 miles east of Tucson, on the west edge of the town of Benson, the Mile Post # is 302. I will plan to schedule the tours at 10:00 am and later. I will have about two weeks to confirm the number of people who will attend. Please respond here or contact Mikie C. For the dining, beer, brats, and burgers, we live in the town of Catalina which is north of Tucson. The good thing is that we are 1:40 from Gilbert, 1:45 from Chandler / Mesa and I have found a quick way to get to I-10 from the Florence area. Please keep this date open and join us. John

I'm not going.. but have been and if any of you guys are on the fence, Kartchner Caverns is truly an awesome place... a MUST see! Was there 2 years ago and can't wait to get back! Have fun! Sounds like a great cruise...

We have a wedding of fellow Car People to attend on Oct 10th up here in Phoenix. That is also the day of the Sanderson Ford Car Show. I will have to pass. Thank You John for your efforts.

To Rick in the Phoenix area. I don't know what happened to your post re. the caverns. OR my reply to you. ???? HOWEVER, I do have two tickets for you and your nephew for the 11:20 AM tour. Please be at I-10, Mile Post 267 which is the Valencia exit, at the gas station on the southeast corner at 9:30 AM. We will depart there for the caverns at 9:45 AM. The tour starts at 11:20 AM . There will be an hour film before the tour, that is why the 9:45 departure time from Tucson. If you have any questions please call me at 520-825-9197. After the tour everyone is coming over to our house for beer, burgers and brats. Looking forward to seeing you. John
