Have a brand new exhaust system on Old 3850. It is a Lobak 24" with Vortex cones inside. Much better than the 18" glass packs.

Hope to see all the great FFR's, SPF's, ERA's, KMP's, Contemporaries, etc. in person. Contact me so we can schedule a stop. Many dates are flexible. Suggested stops welcome.

How about a day trip to Las Cruces Larry? :D

Larry N Johnson 10-25-2004 03:15 PM

Bob,
How about you come to town a couple days early and tell Art you need a roadster for the Nov 13 AZ Club run? Maybe your 427 EFI Roush SPF will be ready??

There goes the neighborhood!

Larry N Johnson 10-27-2004 11:40 PM

Revised the Itinerary based on new contacts. Thanks for the response!

newmexico 10-28-2004 12:33 AM

Glad to see you are getting additional contacts Larry. Looks like a good trip. That's great.

The drive from Costa Mesa to San Berdu at 1700 on the 16th is gunna be a motha. Better you stay in Huntington Beach that nite. My bro will put you guys up. Of course then you will have the drive in the morning rush. :(

Roush is shipping the engine on 11/2. Should be at Anthem by 11/9. Figure they have everything else done now so say 5 days to put it and tranny in and get the fancy air cleaner for the 8 stack machined plus misc. BS means it should be ready for sure (he said with a smile) when I get there on the 16th and in time for the Goodguy's show on the 20th.

All works out to miss you in Phoenix by 2 days. Great planning amigo. We have commitments here and can't get away earlier. I drove to Portland; you could make a small side trip to Las Cruces for krissakes. ;) Wish I could speed things up and make that run with you and the AZ guys. I'd like to meet them all. Hopefully they will attend the show?

Please stay in touch. Will you be on line while traveling?

Larry N Johnson 10-28-2004 07:55 AM

Bob,
Your project is coming together nicely.
Yes, on line and e-mail via Blackberry cell phone.
The online part is dial up speed.
E-mail is primequip@tmo.blackberry.net
The AZ guys are great; maybe they will be going to the Goodguys event on the 20th Nov???

Thanks Western Roundup in Las Vegas!

newmexico 11-11-2004 07:53 AM

Way to go Larry. The SE is great. Too bad the car didn't win anything.

mikiec 11-11-2004 03:57 PM

It's amazing. People go out and spend $25.00 for a trophy and then say " Look what I won"

Mike

newmexico 11-11-2004 04:08 PM

Mike-

The trophy was only lent (lended?) to him by one of your AZoners. I've seen his car- look at my gallery.

Larry N Johnson 11-13-2004 06:20 AM

Yeah, thanks AZ'ers for bringing that trophy all the was to Las Vegas! Appreciated!!

Where did that sign come from? Anyone see it? What does that sign mean? Is that Spanish? Oh, hidden letters "Except Cobras"

Pics taken from Joe Drumheller's Chaney #15 coupe. The coupe needs the brakes fixed. Powered by a stock 302 carb. Nice car otherwise; I drove it a few miles.

Special hospitality thanks to Jim Olson, Mike Canning, OJ, Scott McLain, Art at Hillbank, John at Anthem, Mike Dodson, Dick Laurie, Gordon Levy, and Mike Treece in Tucson.
