Mike, Thanks for your concern about Kandy Hastings. I spoke with Tom Hastings last night, when they returned to Tucson she entered Northwest Hospital and spent the night there. She was released on Sunday afternoon and they do NOT know what is wrong with her. Tom mentioned that she has been having extreme head pains since lasic surgery two years ago. She is resting at home now. As for my Cobra, it is in the garage. I went to buy a new battery on Tuesday and a direct replacement is no longer being made. I took some measurements and will purchase one tomorrow ( the old one is still good but I figure that since it is out and it's 31 months old, I'll just replace it). I plan to pull the starter tomorrow and get it checked, I hope that it is the ptoblem. If not, I'll be checking a couple of relays. The Carnuts Show is always a good one and we normally have one or two guys show their Cobra's there. John

John,

Another thing you might check is the starter solenoid.

Mike, the starter relay is on the starter so when I replace it I get everything new. Do you remember a Mike Caruso ? He owns a beautiful red/white Cobra. Last week he had two cancer related surgeres which removed his thyroid. He'll be off of work until the first of the year. Later he'll receive more treatments. He's 38. John

Yes, I remember Mike.

Give him my best and wishes for a speedy recovery.
