PIR the 8th and the 9th
PIR, NASA open track the 8th and the 9th of January. Anybody planning on running? I will be there on the 9th. It sure would be fun to run with a BDR or FFR. Gordon, DOC, you listening? HPDE 4, see you there. Scott

Geez Scott....through down the gaunlet why don't you! You're too much, but I like it! I know the truth about how fast your car really is cause you passed me like I was parked out at Firebird East. I would like to go and I will try to make it. Tell us the truth now; what lap times do you turn at PIR? Be honest.

I wish I could come chase you around Scott, but we will not have a motor for about 3 weeks so it looks like it will be february for the Blue Cobra. McCabe caught a cold right after we brought the car up to him, so exhaust is being delayed by 1 week which screws everything up with Xmas and new year's.
We may come out with our 65 FB mustang on the 8/9th, but I don't think I can keep up with you in that car. I would be surprised if I could break 1:15 in the Mustang, probably more like <1:10 in the Cobra. Clay going through speed withdrawls... |
Clay, tell McCabe to take some aspirin. I had him build my headers, he did a great job. Clay, we are trying to get the east track in January sometime for a morning, talk to Nelson. JB,I ran a best of 1:10 in 2 sessions at PIR in Novenber. That was with a transponder so its a real time. I am trying to dial in the suspension and brakes right now so I am still chasing the car a little. It would be fun to run with more cobra's. Scott
