Karl get well soon!
You know maybe if that distributor was a little farther forward it would not send out that electric energy so close to the cockpit. I hope you have a speedy recovery (not that a 10 sec driver wouldnt) We will see ya soon.

Karlos,
God Bless You. Carole and I will pray for your speedy recovery. Looking forward to seeing you soon. |
I'm Baaaaack. Thanks for all the good wishes.
I got out of the hospital Tuesday afternoon and am "resting comfortably". I certainly got a wake up call and think that if this had happened 10-15 years ago, I'd be taking the big dirt nap. I guess its fairly common now to do an angioplasty to stop an ongoing attack and withing three hours of its onset, the doctors had me opened up. Fortunately, I was only four miles from home when it happened and more fortunate that there's a "heart hosptial" about six miles away. I'm feeling pretty good, just don't have any strength or stamina. The one major artery feeding the left ventricle was completely blocked and it now has a stint. No bypasses needed and no other blockage. It'll be a long slow road but my cardiologist feels I should make a very good recovery. Dying to drive my car and get out and about, oops, shouldn't say "dying", but this certainly got my attention. I'm only about 15#s overwieght, quit my three packs a day 30 years ago, no cholestorol issues, not high strung, no high blood pressure, pretty active. ONLY 57. Whoda Thunkit? Thanks again for all your good wishes, even for a Chebby-guy. |
Karl,
Thanks for the update. I was beginning to get increasingly worried. Take it easy and get well soon. Best wishes from me and Carole. |
