Fitz.. Did you get it legal??
Well, is it now legal? If so where were you today?
Mike |
Actually I put 100 miles on it today @ 6 miles per gallon. Gees! I drove by on Scottsdale late as I didnt' get up on time to make it there by 8AM. When I actually drove the toy, I was a bit concerned about driving in there, stopping, backing up etc. I was having fun getting use to the clutch. It is a bit touchy. So I wanted to play with it and just get use to it.
It was a blast! Ran into a couple guys at Pavillions for 15 minutes and drove back home. Had a sick wife with me and now both of us can't hear. I had forgotton how loud this thing is. See you guys at the next event if not two weeks at Crusin.:3DSMILE: |
6 MPG
It's not the ammount of gas that it takes, its just getting there before everyone else that counts. Welcome to the world of Big Blocks - Pass almost anything on the road but a gas station... Barb and I use ear plugs on the long cruzes around town it is not to bad.
Have fun breaking her in! Brian |
I am learning fast!

I forgot to ask. How many miles to the gallon do you get. Do you remember the break in period?

Got Gas......
You know after waiting so long I did not even keep track of the miliage until I started to hang out with Mikec and crowd. Then it was like, hey were going to Sodona wana come? Let's see at 7-8 mpg on the freeway how far before I need gas...... I have been getting much better gas miliage after I took her to the dyno a couple of times and got it tuned up. But at the track I get around 4-5mpg, city is 7 mpg and the freeway is about 8-9 now, so it is not to bad. It is that $6.00 race gas that really gets me right in the back pocket! but it is worth it! How is your power band? is she running good? Also how is your temp with the a/c on? still run cool in the city. Have fun!
