Stone guard for noise +
What is the name of a company that has that plastic clear coating that covers the noise and acts as a stone guard in Phoenix. I saw a mustang which had it covering the entire noise and rear wheel well. Looked good. I think he said the name was "Ultra Something" and they will make house calls?:JEKYLHYDE %/

Invincashield is one of the companies. They make kits for a few cobra brands
|
Invincashield uses the standard 3M product which can be purchased as a stand alone product or precut for some Cobra models as mentioned by Pat.
If you decide to go with it have a professional apply it. It's worth the money.
You can probably find someone in your local area that does the application or check the Invincashield web site to local dealer/reps.

Absolutely have someone do it. Looks easy but I know it takes a little time to do it right. Just looking for that local person.

76 miles from Shea and Beeline to Payson. 20+ miles from Payson to Christopher creek. Plenty of gas stations. Maybe you need to add some Jerry Can holders to the car. :) :) :)
Check with Brian he knows where all the stations are.
Mike
P.S. Get well.

Fitz, that stuff will cover the noise, but it will also drown out your stereo. And it does act as a stone guard in Phoenix. However, once you leave the city limits. it won't work. You might want to find something else.
|
But it will work in the fly bridge that goes on top of the trunk!

Call Steve White at (602)390-8468. He owns a company called Carbon Copy. He is the same guy that Art at Hillbanks uses. Steve uses the 3M product and he is very good at applying it. The stuff that he put on my car still looks good after a couple of years!

I have the Invisable Bra by the local company (arranged by Art at Hillbank) on my car. You can see the car at Anthem Motors for the next few days (or longer). The shield has b een on the car since last August and there isn't a chip on the car- anywhere. :)

""We use/recommend Ultra Shield who custom install a 3M material that works well Contact Ryan( 602-694-6979) or Ken (602-670-9999)""
I called them and it was $550 to do the kit. Not saying that was high but it seems high. I guess it takes awhile to do. I am thinking about it.
Bob, what did you pay for your shield?
