Yep, the waiting game can drive you nuts, BUT just think how MUCH FASTER you'll be able to get there ONCE you actually have your cobra on the road. Cobra ownership is MORE than an infatuation/passion. It rapidly transends that and becomes an OBSESSION. I KNOW!!

CobraEd 04-26-2005 12:50 PM

Steve,

It's all relative. The information you are seeing could be Far Worse. . . . . . You could be reading:

"Shipping container fell from crane into bay and sank during loading. Customer to be notified shortly".

trularin 04-26-2005 12:55 PM

Or worse, "container lost at sea...contact shipper."

BPWilliams 04-26-2005 01:06 PM

Or, "What container?"

comstock 04-26-2005 03:05 PM

I think it's in here somewhere. Blue container, maybe???

Arghhhh! To top it all off, the hotel assigned me room "427"!!!

Fitz 04-26-2005 11:02 PM

Or the "Intended Transhipment confirmed at MANZANILLO (MX) on MSC" has been stolen by illegal aliens coming across the boarder. Please contact the minutemen in your area.........

HA! It arrives this morning!

Woohoo!

Hey comstock

My father ordered a cobra from hillbank and it suppose to be out in the ocean

How do you do the tracking on the shipment

i see your gonna go with the 427 roush ? big or small block ?trying to talk the old man into it. but he is going with 402R

thanks for any help

comstock 04-29-2005 09:05 AM

Caman24,

Have him talk to Hillbank to get the bill of lading number or the container number. Then he can log onto the shipper's site (in my case it was MSC - http://www.mscgva.ch/tracking/tracking_login.html )
and enter the number. It's an imperfect system, but you can get some idea of what part of the world his car is in.

As to the 402, it's also a great engine for the car. No slouch at 515 hp!

Cheers,
Steve
