Parts purchase in Phoenix-help.
Could one of you guys who live/work near the So-Cal Speed Shop at 3427 E. McDowell do me a favor? They have the small chrome windshield wiper post covers. I have been searching in Tucson for two months for these and nobody knows where to get 'em. The guy at So-Cal knew what I was talking about and said that he has them in stock. They are $16.99 plus tax. If someone could please buy them for me I will be going thru Phoenix on Wednesday on my way to Reno and I'd like to pick them up then. Or, if you are coming down to Tucson on Sunday for our Sicilian style party ( see other post ) bring them with you. Or, I'll be meeting Stuart in the Cave Creek area on Wednesday, if you could get them to him I'll get them then. My payment to you can be a check or cash ( payable before I go to Reno). Thanks, John

Keep a close eye on your car in the parking lot while you are there, its not a great neighborhood. A couple of years ago I was in there getting some bits for my Lister and when I came back out my F250 was long gone. |
