wheel polishing
Can anybody here recommend or know of some place that can polish a set of machine finish aluminum wheels. I am to busy (i.e. lazy) to do them myself. In the Phx area (preferred), or even LA I go there to buy car stuff. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure they are still there, but I called this place once to do some polishing and they do it on an hourly rate. I was referred to them by a reputable speed shop.

I had a set of wheels done by Southwest Polishing in Mesa. They did a good job at a reasonable price, just don't be in a big hurry. They were really busy.

Ya know, I thought about getting my wheels polished but decided that having them chromed would look better for a much longer period of time and NO future work!
I'm not sure about the cost difference, but I sent mine to LA (turnaround time about 10 days). Cost total for 4 was $600. You might also want to consider the "new" finish - PermaStar. They are located in Pittsburg, CA. and do a great job. Not sure of their cost but you can check their website.
