Scottsdale area Mechanic

I recently relocated to the Scottsdale area. I have a '67 and '69 Shelby and I'm looking for a reputable mechanic to work on them. If anyone has any information regarding mechanics in the area that they would recommend, any assistance would be much appreciated!

Hey

Johhny Jackson at Airpark AutoTek 480 483 7535. The are at Raintree and 83rd - on the opposite side of Raintree from the Lotus dealer...

He often has real Shelby Mustangs in there as well as installing the engines in many of the SuperFormance cars. They are Ford specialists as well as numerous interesting foreign cars - like 50's 300 SLs and such. He has done some things to my cars and the workmanship is not to be faulted... and he is a really nice guy as well.

Welcome to the Phoenix area and Az. Shelby Club. I would recommend Ken Berger/Ric Heath restorations in Scottsdale. You can reach Ken at 480-991-1191 and visit his shop to see a 1966 Shelby GT350 resto being done now.

Steve,

I concur with Mulv -- highly recommend Johney and Coner at Airpark Autotek. They know Cobras well, and have lots of "fixes" and mods in their bag of tricks. They did an excellent (and timely) job of installing the engine and final buildout of my SPF.

Cheers,
Steve
