Code reader extension cord

Does anybody know where I can pick up an extension cord for my code reader? I'm striking out at all the parts stores. NAPA is my last hope - gonna call them tomorrow. This is for an OBD-I for a Ford.

There are several sites online that I can order one from but I'm always a little spooked giving out my credit card number to smaller sites.

Thanks.

(p.s. I know, I know. "Dump the EFI and go carb so you don't have to worry about that junk". :3DSMILE: I probably will at some point but not anytime soon...)

I gotta ask, What do you want an extention cord for? The OBD 1's are getting old enough you can buy a cheapo scanner for 25 bucks.

I actually did just that - picked up a cheapo scanner this weekend. But due to a poor wiring design by my car's builder (hey wait a minute... ;) ), the test plug is up high in the driver's foot box. I can't get the scanner on there and read it unless I get in some contorted postion that nobody will want to know about.

I saw I can get them online for only about $10. But I was hoping for some local option first.
