The search for lunch

Well another successful Jan 1st run. Well almost. Seems as though the eatery at the top of Yarnell Hill is closed on Mondays. Now we sit in the parking lot and it's 30 degrees. We decide to press on in search of food.

Drove through the Town of Yarnell and on to Peoples Valley. Nothing available. However, being a good provider Mr. Pink spots a little bunnie on the side of the road. Jim has been complaining about how hungry he is, decides to make stew out of the bunnie. He thumps the bunnie on the head with his cobra. Says Ahh now I can have lunch,he forgets there are 15 other cars behind him. Yup, not much left of the bunnie. We continue our search for food. Jim is now crying and lamenting the loss of his meal.

Finally we found grub at the Wickenburg Country Club.

He should be more thoughtful like Dave and go after larger game that would feed more people...a coyote for example..... ;)

Yup, I was right behind him - would have made a small bunnyburger.

The Pinmkster swerved so hard to make sure he hit the bunny, I was afraid he'd turn the car over. Good thing its got a low center of gravity. If only it had been a little warmer, we all could have enjoyed rabbit quesadilla, flat as a tortilla. grilled by the sun.

I will not be held responsible for stupid woodland creatures with slow reflexes. Where's the hot sauce?

Jim called me this morning. He felt so bad running over that bunnie that he drove up there today; scrapped the bunnie up off the street. Took it home and is going to mount it on his garage wall (side view of course).

Turns out there's photographic evidence of the crime. (warning to the easily offended or squeamish!)
