I had mine repaired at Jiffy Lube. There was a guy hanging around who called my Ins Co. and got the OK from them. No charge. Good now for 4 years. Same guys spend time at AM PM Market. Near here.

Bob, any of the good car wash places have the same thing. They are all over you when you get gas. They will either call your insurance company or you can pay them cash. My last one there was either $15 or $30. They did two of them.

Thanks guys. I don't think my insurance covers glass but I'll check. At any rate $15-20 bucks seems reasonable. If I can get loose tomorrow I'll see if I can find one at a car wash.

Well there is this place in Utah... repaired a windshield on a rental I had, best job I've seen. My Cobra windshield had been nailed a few times and I have used the kits from autozone, while I they don't look the greatest it has contained it from spreading. If err when I get nailed in my field of vision I'll replace it.

Man that's a long ways to drive to get a chip fixed. Maybe I'll just ship it to him. :D

Any of the major auto parts retailers will have a kit that will do a pretty good job. The repair will probably still be a little visable but it will keep the cracks from spreading and as long as its not in your line of sight, should not bother you.
Funny ringing in your left ear?

Funny ringing in your left ear?
Eh? :D
Too many years of guns, open cars and standing next to the drummer have reduced my left ear to a quivering mass.
