This brings up an interesting question for those of us planning or building our current ride.

When selecting your color do you stay with soild colors versus some of the more exotic colors; Thinking of touch ups, or worse. :(

I am considering a 3 part paint job which means touch ups are not a real option, let alone repair and is probably impossible.

Any comments would be appreciated.

I received my first chip on my first run so I was over the perfect paint job pretty quickly. My car is a house of kolor custom candy apple green with 15 coats of paint. I had to resand the nose and try to match the candy which is impossable to do and it shows. I started to race my car more and the chips got bigger so no big deal.. I am building a full time track car now and have plans on repainting the car back to the same color and putting on the 3M to protect the paint best as possible. If you drive em they will get nicks no big deal, badges of honor!
