It appears that our own Dave Shulak and his beautiful Daytona Coupe showed up in our own Arizona Republic Sunday Newspaper under a Cars.com feature called: My Cool Car. Here is a digital photo of the page:

Way to go Dave! Nice photo, (except the guy standing next to the car) Shouldn't there be a rabbit sillouette on the side?

Hey Davids, I understand that you won a TGB scooter at the Knotts show. Is that true ? Well, I just won one at the FFR Open House ! There were some words said about two Arizona Cobra owners getting these scooters. Anyway, I'd like to chat with you about registration, helmet, and will I need a motorcycle license ? Can it be driven on the street in Arizona ? Any help that you can give me about those items will be appricated. John

Arizona has no helmet law

You need a license

You need to register it

You will risk your life on a 50cc bike in the Phoenix area. People regularly drive 50 + mph on the streets marked 35.. Can I have your Cobra when you get squashed?

Famous Dave, Congratulations. Hersh and Bob are right. That is a great shot of the car.

Jim-Toledo 06-19-2007 08:58 PM

Hey Mulv, thanks for that bit of info. And, NO, you can not have my Cobra, it's going to one of the kids. In fact, I have just installed a new windshield, new pax side headlight bucket, and have a new dash that I am working on to place the instruments in locations where I can seen them. Here in Toledo, actually Lambertville, Mich., the temp yesterday was 95 degrees and 90 % hummidity--- I can't wait to get home to Tucson. John

davids 06-20-2007 12:42 AM

davids 06-21-2007 07:19 AM

John, I used to ride horses at Howard Stables in Lambertville.. A good friend of mine, Judy Klag Howard owns the place..Your Daughter might know her..By the way, tellher not to be mad...Everyone in Toledo knows those quips... Dave

davids 06-21-2007 07:22 AM

THE ONE INFRONT IS THE REAL BIRD,,,,THE ONE IN BACK IS A GROWTH..YES, IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION....Dave

Danr55 06-21-2007 04:57 PM

That process would be a Maccawectomy? Or?? what's the plural of Maccaw? I bet that's a delicate operation. Get too rough and the surgeon could loose a finger.. or worse.
