Cruise In Friday night
Going to try the new Cruise-In at McDonalds 24710 N Lake Pleasant Pkwy, Peoria, 85383 Friday night. 5pm ish and weather permitting. Join in, I'm told there were 30 cars last week. I always like McD's anyway. You can Mapquest directions. It is just South of Happy Valley Rd. Enormous shopping center building going on there. Walk to new Super Target.

Take the 101 to Union Hills. West to 99th Ave. Right up to about Pinnacle Peak Rd where the McD is located. New other roads being built there. Right now this is best way.
Might as well drive tonight. Tomorrow's weather looks wet. (60% chance of rain) but, of course, you never know.

Just got home. Yup, it's raining here. Made it home just in time. The cruise area is large and has lots of stores to shop at. Also, when you tell the clerk at McDonalds you have a show car your drinks are free. Might just do this one again without the rain.
By the way, David S made it there. Lots of traffic in route.

I made a valiant attempt. Made it to almost Union Hills and was driven back by the rain and wind (mostly by the wind).

I had about 5 drops driving home....No rain to speak of Bob..It was nice chating with you for about 10 minutes...Nice McDonalds and lots of room too and stores are close but the driveeeeeeeeeeeee from my place???? WOW... bumper to bumper for about 5 miles..took me an hour....Dave P.S. BOB, if you rent me a room for the night I might come back..

Mikie,, My car has been revived. Got a quick fix on the radiator with will work until the new one gets from Howe Racing. They said about two weeks.. So I'm limping but I'm moving.
