Bill,

A lift would have been nice. Someday I'll have one. As it stands.. The tranmission is in small pieces, clutch is on the bench, engine is held up with a tranny jack supplied by Mr. Classic.

Mike, when you are ready to put the tranny back in, I could bring my trailer over, we could push the car on to the lift and do it that way if you wish! You make the call.

mikiec 01-28-2008 01:59 PM

Bill, Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know when the time comes to re-stab that thing.

Man is that a crock. No one else thinks you're a MR.......
Mikie has tranny disease. :eek::eek:

vettestr 01-29-2008 07:41 PM

I hear ya Dave, when Mikiec starts calling you Mr. he has something.

mikiec 01-31-2008 01:38 PM

Dave...

Jeff deserves the title. Why? When you have a cock that follows you around and drags on the ground and call it your pet, you deserve to be called Mr.

:D:D:D:D

as long as the person is nice I would think that I could call him just about anything (NICE) and he or she would appreciate it..How far does one have to go to be ""N-I-C-E""

Mikie, What does the rooster have to do with anything?

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 01-31-2008 11:49 PM

Dan, Jeff has adopted a Rooster who flew into his yard and workshop and follows him around all day. Quite comical. He used to call is "PetCock" but has recently changed the rooster's name to "CrapCock" because it simply craps everywhere, anytime. See what happens when you feed a stray?

AZ Bob

Danr55 02-01-2008 06:17 AM

Thanks for that Bob and I agree with your analogy about feeding strays. I fed one a few years back and wound up married to her. Cost me about $125,000 to get out of that one. Whew! Good advice. "DON'T FEED STRAYS!" OR ADOPT PET ROOSTERS!

vettestr 02-01-2008 09:19 AM

Hey guys,
I did not adopt the rooster he adopted me, does not follow others around like he does me. Petcock hung around for a couple of weeks without any food being offered. After he got hunger enough he joined us for lunch one day, jumped up on a bench taking a bite of my Subway (turkey sub .... cannibalistic little %&*). The wife says she is not cooking him so what ya going to do????
Mikiec, well.. doesn't everybody??? Davids, As long as ya call me for dinner I am OK Dan, ya I know and have gotten in trouble feeding strays too but when they jump in your lap it is all over, I am beat. I think that is how I wound up married the first time come to think about it sometimes it seems I do everything the hard way
Signed... MR classic

I will now take the wuss award....

The Tranny is at a shop being put back together. After some discussions with members I've decided to let a pro check it out and put it back together.

Be ready in about 2 weeks.

I had a TKO 600 that I gave to Gordon and upgraded to a new one 6-9 months ago. You could have maybe gotten that one if he had fixed; for the right price I will bet!

Paul Gillespie 02-05-2008 05:00 PM

We'll make sure you collected your award at Christmas

mikiec 02-05-2008 10:17 PM

Bet that's gonna hurt.... :) :)

Mike

Danr55 02-06-2008 05:26 AM
