Smoking Deal on a 514
There's an 800 hp 514 listed on the Phoenix craigslist for only $4500, including a built C6 and 3500 RPM torque convertor. A blue oval buddy of mine knows the engine and says its all good components and profesionally built. I'd probably jump on it, if it wasn't a Ford.

I may buy it and put it in my 1963 Corvette replica.

Looks like a great deal, just don't have the cash to spare right now, there is also a superformance with a 514 on the same site for 47,800.

blykins, sounds like a fine idea. Afterall, that '63 Corvette replica is A REPLICA and since its your car, you can do whatever you want. There is a slight chance that if there is a group of Corvette Replica owners, they will give you crap about putting a FoMoCo engine in your replica, but, if you can go fast enough, they'll back off on the criticism.
