Drive Somewhere

I know this sounds crazy, but I have to drive a round trip to San Diego this Saturday. Over and back in one day. I'm sure by the time I get home on Saturday, it will be too late to go anywhere in the Cobra. So............Is anyone interested in a drive somewhere on Sunday?

Take the cobra to SD and back.

Dan, you lookin for the "iron butt" award? You got it. Driving alllllll day Saturday and you want to drive Sunday? Someday I'll growup and be like you, but not in this lifetime.

AZ Bob, Good luck!

Mr. Broberg (and I use that term in the currently exploited, questionable sense) There is driving and there is DRIVING. Driving a truck to San Diego and back to do a favor for a friend (Mikie, I can't haul much tubing in a Cobra) is driving. Running the Cobra to Payson or Catalina for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon is DRIVING. I hope I've explained that properly.. and I know you're grown up and I've always wanted to be just like you... but that much motor scares me.

new cobra owner in az

Please have patience with me as I am brand new to this game, but I am looking forward to meeting the cobra owners in the phoenix area. Anytime is a good time to take a drive in a cobra I alway say. In fact if I don't get to drive mine at least once a week I go through withdrawls. Unless you factory five guys have a problem being seen with a lonestar guy, I would like to go up on a drive or two. I live in maricopa & have only owned my cobra about 2 months. If there are any drives coming up, let's go.

Lonestar, another Cobra is always welcome, regardless of heritage. The next scheduled event is the lunch in Globe run on the 17th. We will meet at the Shell gas station on Shea Blvd. just off of the B Line Hwy. at 10:00 AM. If you're there, you can go.

024 welcome. Look up Mikiec's e-mail address and drop him a note so he can add you to his address list. He's the gang's unofficial HMFIC and he sends out notifications of upcoming events....when he feels like it.
