Back on the road
Well now that I am back on the road it is getting awfully hot to drive. Is anyone doing still doing Superstition on Friday or Pavillions on Saturday and if so what time?
|
I was at the Pavillions last Saturday and it was about 400 degrees. I got there at 7 and even without the sun it was pretty wicked..:MECOOL:
I'll see what the weather is on Saturday, it wasn't exactly "crowded".. |
Superstition on Friday has become Superstition on Saturday. The only one I know of in East valley on Friday is at Arizona Ave. south of the 202 at Something Ranch Towne Center... Never can remember the name of that place..

Are you going to be at the superstitions on sat.? If so what time? My wife & I would like to do something this sat.. Also, where can we meet up, or should I say where is the hang out. Lonestar #24 |
LOnestar, Check your PMs.. We can set something up for Saturday..
|
Hot as hell, when then?
So, for someone who's never been to an event, when is the next one? Saturday morning a possibility?
|
Where's "the superstition" gathering located -- and its on every Saturday you say? I'm unfamiliar.

Sandy, Nothing happens in the mornings, unless the gang gets together for a crusie somewhere. On Friday nights, in the East Valley, there are little shows at Lindsay and Warner and one at Dobson and Elliot. (I think the Dobson show still happens. Real sure about Lindsay). The show Saturday nights is in the KMart parking lot at Power Rd. and Hampton, which is just south of Southern, across from Superstition Springs Mall. The Saturday show will ofter get 200 cars but the number goes down, for some reason, when its 190. These shows are free to everyone, no judging, and no trophies. They do have a 50/50 raffel to help pay for the music. The cars run the gammit with the exception that there's usually no ricers, but they do allow Corvettes. oh well.

Karlos.. you've forgotten about the Friday night gathering at Arizona Ave. and Queen Creek at Fulton Towne Center. Twice a month it is pretty good size. Music, free pizza, etc. The other Fridays, it's just something to do.. An excuse to drive your car.

Arizonia and Octillo, in with Checker and Lowes.

I stand corrected. Thanks Robert.

Danr, I didn't forget, just didn't know about the one you mentioned. I had heard of one at Ocotillo, but didn't know the cross street. Pretty good hike from my end of God's Country, when its 190.
