Kit Cars on The Colorado 2
Just bringing our greatest annual event to the front. Mike, I got your e-mail registration and agenda tonight. Great job! This is a can't miss event. Especially the Social Circle on Friday and The Water Shuttle and Megaritas on Saturday. Besides the great drive, this is THE EVENT OF THE YEAR for cobras. If you can have more fun (off track) with your car, I don't know about it. Of course alcohol has nothing to do with it. The T-Shirts are first class and some people actually win at the casino! Myself excluded.

I had to pay Bob $20 to say nice things about the T-shirts. Sounds like it all went to Dave.

this event
So who all goes to this event?
Is it really a good drive or just long?
How many cars usually break down?
Can you do some burn outs or is it sit in the parking lot and eat/drink.
I am going to look up the web page..
Be gentle in your comments..

Fitz your kidding right?
Hummmm HUGE parking lot, beer, friends, more friends, more beer.... what is not to like? I think I laid my best rubber at the Casino thru two gears and had plenty of room to stop and do it again!
I have broke down once but our friend from Tucson John was there to pick up the parts. Oh and there was the one COP car that was stuck off the side of the road, but we laughed and still went by real sloooo.
Hit rain one year, humm and have had countless hours of fun with people from 4 states. Not a bad gig, It's even better now that we just took the whole thing over and decided to be ourselves...rebels!

Road Trip
Brian, I actually thought about going to this one but after checking the Oct calander I have committment to go wine tasting with another couple down southern AZ way. Hotels all set and money paid. Whoops!
On top of that, one of my trannys has something wrong with it at the boat. God knows what that will cost or how to even get to it without taking some things apart. Replaced a water pump last week so I told the guy to just change out the other one. I don't even use the dam thing. (that is the problem). And gas is .50-.60 more a gal there. Whoa!
Think I will take the car out for a spin tonight if it doesn't rain.

Fitz, I know what you mean our boat is due for a rebuild and some interior work. Boats are not easy to work on without cranes and dry docks!
Let us know how the winery works out Barb and I are thinking of going that way soon!

Well, we will miss you Fitz. That's OK, I'll step in and drink your assigned Beer and Margaritas. We'll get along somehow. Hic!
