Public Thanks to Karl. This AM he invited me over to "KARL'S GARAGE" to put in a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and through out bearing in my Cobra. Hoist up to hoist down was 3.5 hrs. The clutch came out in three pieces. I've never seen a clutch plate this bad. Karl told me "you drive too fast".

Mike, glad I could help out and glad the problem is fixed. It will be interesting to hear what your find out about the numbers on your old clutch. My sweetie will surely be feeling better by next weekend. Just let me know what you'd like to do.

Why didn't you just weld his clutch together? Afterall the classes you have, I figure it's about time to put the schooling to good use. :):):) Mike |
