In Tucson this weekend
Are any of you guys getting together with your cars this Saturday night (March 21) in Tucson. I am in town on business and cannot get a flight out until Sunday morning. I would love to meet some of my fellow cobra owners.
LMH, I sent you a PM. Ken Walker Texas Cobra Club-Austin |

John, I thought there was an Order of Protection on you that you must be at least a 1000ft away form any school! Ralph :MECOOL: |
Ralph, Watch what you say, I can have THE BOYS at your home in a matter of hours. Perhaps you have forgotten, I am from Chicago. John The car show is actually about 1,500 ' from the school.

Ken,
We missed you today at the stuffing party. I hope you are having fun out there. See you Thursday at the Texas Cobra Club meet. Steve |
Ken came out to one of our car shows this evening, Saturday, and we had a nice time chatting about Cobras. He'll be home on Sunday to join you and help on your event next weekend. A couple of us are looking forward to attending next year in Austin. Ken described the activities and happenings, wow, I hope that this year turns the corner and next year you can go nation wide. John PS. Thanks Ken for visiting us in Tucson.

John,
It would be great to have y'all with us! We have a really good time as you probably heard from Ken. And the cruisin' through the Hill Country is really great. Hope to meet you then. Steve |
Open invitiation to the Texas Cobra Meet in March
Guys,
OK, I promised to return the hospitality you guys showed me back last March while I was in Tucson on business. The Texas Cobra Meet is March 25-28 in San Marcos, TX (about 40 miles south of Austin on I-35). Show up and the first round of beers in on me. For more info go to www.texascobrameet.com/2010 Thanks again and I hope to see you in March. Ken Walker Hurricane 1015 |
Hi Ken, I just did a quick check of the mileage and driving time to San Marcos, 17:30 and 1,031 miles from Tucson. I have eye surgery scheduled for the following week. I'll try to find someone else to drive on over with me and spend the weekend with you guys. What is the weather like in March ? As a side note, the price of gas in Tucson is right at $2.55 p/gal. What is yours ? The price per night at the hotel, $129.00, is a bit steep, what do I get for that outragious price ? Thanks for remembering us, I'll keep touch with you. John
