13th. Annual Cool Country Cruise In

Hey you AZ boys, anyone interested in going to this years "Cool Country Cruise In" on August 14th. & 15th. ?
It's in Williams AZ, and sponsored by Twisters on old Route 66..$40.00.
Can get room in town..won't have to drive to show because you'll be there.
Went last year , great fun...what do you guys think?

Great little Saturday show. I went several times in years past but ran into rain a couple years in a row so I gave up. Also the awards all seemed to go to a group of people who knew each other and sat at the same table. hmmmm? Always stayed at the Econo Lodge right on the strip. Fun to walk the shops. Twisters is good for bfst & lunch. Good restaurants and bars for night. Guy I used to meet there sold his Viper. Bill & Mary Gildersleeve own a summer home (den of iniquity and Coors) up there. I know, the other Bill & Mary. Alas, I am scheduled to work that weekend.

Hey anyone going to Williams on the 14th & 15th. to Twisters Cool Country Cruise In?

Hey, what's a little rain (bring your cover and plastic)..the cooler weather is worth it and it's a very relaxed show. Who cares, who and what get the trophies...it's the drive that counts.

Best to all, Bill

It was a fun week end, good weather (no rain), nice cars and grreat crusing around the area and plenty of food.
It was nice to see Bill & Marilyn from Paulden and amazed how fast they sold the T-bird, the sign up on Friday and it was gone on Saturday.
I only saw one other cobra cruising through town..looked like an FFR with a giant hood scoop and a nasty cam.

Hopefully. we will see the AZ folks at Laughlin, Bill

Glad you had a good time. What color was the cobra with the big hood scoop?

Bill G. You sold the T-bird? What are you going to build now?

Mike

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 08-18-2009 10:16 AM

Bill, you sold the Square Bird? You did a great job on that resurrection. No wonder you sold it so fast.
I assume that means you will be working on a new project?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Bob,
Someone has to have a vehicle that they would like to get rid of. The one that they were going to restore......someday. Keep an eye out for me.

Hey Bill,
How about a 46 Ford 2 door bla bla. I was thinking about doing it myself but just not enough floor space. The chassis is done (very nice BTW) and body minus fenders is in paint but not finished. All the hard stuff is done with all the parts remaining in a pile. It belongs to Bruce B who also needs the spot for other Toys. Call me if any desire to hear more 602 402 8504

46 Ford

Is this the GOLD plated or standard 46 Ford?
Bill;)

vettestr 08-21-2009 09:13 AM

Bill,
Well all cars made just after the WW are basic and pretty much unchanged for a few years anyway. If you mean is it priced like solid gold ...NO! The bodywork alone that is done would cost more than the asking price if you had to pay a shop today for the same. Call me at 602 402 8504 and I'll give you more detail.

Bill,

Jeff is right. This is right up your alley.

Check with Broberg, we all know this car.
