Looks like I'll be headed down your way Karl & Dan on Saturday for the Crossroads of the West Gun Show in Mesa

Wellllll, If you're willing to drive about 10-12 miles from the gun show, I can turn you on to some excellent Mexican food at Don Luis', east of Ellsworth, on main. Or...if you've got the stones, there's Los Dos Molino's just a couple miles from down town. the sub title on Los Dos is
"some like it hot" and is very appropriate. Dammmmtasty but definitely on the spicy side. Their food will loosen your sinuses! I'm pretty sure Mesa Dave will be out of town, as is Mike B. You might be stuck with Danr and Me and who ever else on this side of town wants to brouse the show. |

Well guys, it looks like I'll be stuck in New York while you all enjoy the gun show. I'll be sweating and slaving here, while you are searching for the "I can't survive another minute with out it" item. I will be back in time for the 4th. That's a promise.

Boy, you guys were smart to back out. I arrived at 9am (door opening time) and the entry line was 2 blocks long. I had to park 2 blocks north and walk in. When I got there the line was around the building and 2 blocks northeast, so I followed the line back almost to my truck. The line didn't even move for 30 minutes so I gave up. I calculated 3000 people waiting to get in. The occupancy limit was reached immediately and us guys at the rear wouldn't see the inside until noon-ish. Next show in July, get there 1 hour early and be prepared to wait, but at least toward the front of the line.
So...I stopped at Bass Pro Shop - nothing & noone there. (They did have 9mm in stock). Went to Cabelas and found 357 mag JHP and 40 S&W FMJ in stock. Bought a bunch and went home. Not entirely a lost trip. Never did find my 32 auto nylon magazine pouch. AZ Bob |

Wife and I arrived at about 11am. Walked right up and in. Very crowded. Not a pleasant experience. Lots of ammo for sale. Hey, could even buy a bazooka if you wanted one lol |
