Guys, I'm leaving for St. Louis in the morning but will return Wednesday or Thursday. I'm watching the hurricane moving into central Mexico. If it pushes a bunch of rain up our way, we'll postpone for another day maybe later in September. I will send everyone I've received an email from a notice if we decide to change the date.
Thanks to all for jumping in like this. I think it will be a great run.

I agree, this will be a great run, but not this weekend. Hurricaine headed for AZ. Rain forcast at 60%. I am going to have to pass. Perhaps later in the year, after monsoons.

The forecast for Tucson is temps in the low 90's and a 40% chance of thunderstorms. It's really way too early to re-decide about the cruise because the NWS has picked six, yes six, different ways that they think the weather could go.

Hey guys, I just arrived home after back surgery and the doctor will not allow me to drive for at least ten days. I am sorry to say that I'll have to cancel my plans to join you for the weekend drive.

I really hate to say it, but this time I agree with Bob. Too high a percentage for rain and too chancey. I just flew home over that area and you couldn't see the ground for the thunder busters.. I think we need to POSTPONE, not cancel. We'll see about pulling this together again when it drys up a little bit. We need an event for September. Maybe this will be it. I will send email to everyone who replied to me with email.
