Arntz on Ebay

Does anyone know the history of this car?
Replica/Kit Makes | eBay

Seems like an older build that's had a bit of a rebuild. I can't get too excited about the dash or trunk area, but can I see a dry sump pump mounted in front of the passenger side cylinder head? What are the tubes that seem to run from the crossmember up to the firewall above the footboxes?

Original shape roll-bar is good. Blanking caps for the holes left by removing the original trunk hinges are not so good...

Does the chassis number C196700/219 follow a regular Arntz sequence?

ID plate says 2003 vehicle and 1964 engine year.

I did not think Arntz cars were built so late ?

They weren't, although I've seen a number of body/chassis units over the last couple of years that were built by Arntz back in the early 80s and still haven't been finished. I'd expect that the Cali ID tag simply outlines the first (or most recent) time that the car was registered in that state. I've seen and heard of Cobras that have a handful of different ID tags fitted as the cars make their way through various owners and various states over the years.

Much of it is the same as mine. Mine was a very late Mk III version from the design of the hood. My tank is mounted exactly like the one in the picture. My interior is different due to my interior being installed by Butler.

As for the tubes, maybe part of the extended roll cage?
