Hey Butler Boys.....
...since there appears to be a lot of us (especially you guys in California) what would you think about a calendar. I am thinking of Ron Daveley (Silver Fox) and his wonderful SPF calendar. By October (after I go blasting up top the noerthern 3 New England states----I should have a couple of good shots. You guys might have hundreds! All we need is a computer, digital, desk-top publishing, etc.-savvy Butler Boy. Please do not point at me. More than a few of my CC correspondents know that my "compootah skills" are absolutely STUPIFYIN' (in their utter absence)...:LOL: Coco, the flippin' Go-freakin'-rilla is Bill Gates next to me! She may look like me, but leaves me in the dust when it comes to key-board acumen!!!!:LOL: :JEKYLHYDE :LOL: :LOL:

Not that I am any better than a monkey f&^king a football on the computer either, I do have access to some nice software and a local printer that is pretty reasonable. The key will be taking quality pic's. I highly recommend Curt Scott's Motor Car Photo Tips on Cobracountry.com.

That car is just unBELIEVABLE in black!---I was contemplating a truly weird color---"Eggplant" (almost black)---but that's for another thread, really. Unfortunately, since you showed such incredible talent at pubbing a calendar-page---YOU ARE NOW OUR PROJECT LEADER!!! (You WERE in the service weren't you? You know therefore know that "no good deed goes unpunished"). :LOL: :LOL:
Let's just leisurely poke at this---ya cah's cosmetics are #1 (both as a qualitiative judgement AND in getting the port forward quarter repaired!). This gent (local to you), SHANNON FRY is a true expert in paints and repairs--he's a CC member----just don't mention that I "sent" you---I owe him a box of color-chips. :JEKYLHYDE He's getting a commission from me, so it's gonna be okay anyway. ........no I haven't learned how to paste/post/yodel or juggle (only two are on my Wish List):JEKYLHYDE Duane pointed out we have ANOTHER good photographer----Alan "Photoguy"---I don't know how close you, Mike and Alan are to each other but it's gotta be cozier than the commute to Cape Cod!:LOL: :LOL:
And-----to Alan---I was probably deficient in returning your calls last Spring---if, indeed, that was you. Sorry:rolleyes:...been kinda busy. What do you think of a Arntz/Butler calendar idea? No rush (my car's in and out of the shop, fitting new mirror mounts, rool-bars, rebuilt engine, etc.---but you seem to be a natural for a calendar photoguy. We've already got January set! I am also interested in fitting the widest wheels/tires to my Butler--(see other thread, this site). :D It would be good to hear from you---this time I'll try to be better on telephone drill, if you want to call me.....or e-mail me direct.:p |
