Butler Cobra Heater defroster
Trying to find out what heater defroster you guys have on your cobras.
Photos would be much appreciated. I have problems with sending photos to this forum so please email then to mitchy.usa@att.net Thanks, Arthur |
WOW...interesting post. I will be AMAZED if anyone has 'heater defroster' on one of thse beasts...but then I live in an area where the average annual temperature is about 70 degrees!!!
|
I live in Chicago.....Now you know why I'm looking for heat.
Incidentally. Do you Butler owners find the car too hot in the summer. Do you have fresh air vents blowing into the foot-wells? Arthur |
BTW...GREAT looking interior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Thanks! I like the interior too!
Have you read about the new front suspension I have istalled in my Butler? Oops, You don't have a Butler, but check it out, It's cool too. I can't upload any photos of it to the Forum, I can only email them. You can see the same suspension at the Fast Cars, Inc. website. Arthur |
Heat shields
The transmission tunnel in the Butler is very wide and lets the heat transfer through from the engine area out the back pretty well. I did make the mistake of leaving off the heat shields between the footboxes and the headers and drove through Fresno, Calif. in July one year. I installed them shortly thereafter and have no intentions of ever removing them.
