Midshifter sale.

Hi,
I make midshifters for the TKO-500 & TKO-600 and have them on sale for just $200.00 from Jan 10-14 on new TKO orders. The regular midshifter price is $350.00. I also make a midshifter for the early TKO & early 3550 if you want to upgrade your old Tremec.

Mike, I was going to make a seperate post in the trans section but this'll prolly do as well. I have TKO600RR that I THINK I'd like to convert to mid-shift. I looked at Tremec's tech page and, other than them using nomenclature references that are never shown, it doesn't look to hard. My question is; does it help shifting feel? I'm running an FE and the shifter is way to far back for me. It also is kind of vague in it's feel. I know moving the shifter forward would help me but would it help the trans as well?

I'll have to get the T56 #s tomorrow from the shop. Its basically a Viper T56 that was made for an FE about 6 years ago. I think they only made 1-200 of them. Plenty strong enough. After sizing it up I think Im stuck with one of two choices. If I leave the shifter in the rear I will need a reverse shifter thats about 2" longer than normal and it probably still wont feel right. Or, I can use the front location with a straight handle ala Corvette and it should be about right.
