Centerforce clutch with McLeod T/O
For 10 years, but only about 2500 really easy, tho' often stop 'n start, city miles i've run a top loader, McLeod Hydraulic T/O and Centerforce counterweighted clutch. Third gear got totally chewed up and the 3&4 synchros, as well. In fixing the problem, my helper (and pro mechanic) noted that the McLeod instructions (I guess I didn't see them 10 years ago) say not to use the McLeod hydraulic t/o with the Centerforce clutch, without removing the counterweights. Of course, Centerforce says never to remove the weights. Do you know anything about this? thanx steve
