One hurdle jumped
Well I took my car to the MVR this morning to start the approval side of things for rego.
Emissions test - Passed Brake test - Passed Noise test - Passed Roadworthy inspection - Passed Then it went on the scales, 520kg front axle - 600kg rear axle (half tank of fuel) - 1120kg in rego trim. I have contacted engineer in Darwin - he is out of the office at the moment but will call me this arvo to let me know what day next week to buy his plane tickets. Getting closer now :) |

Just spoke to the engineer, he is flying down on Saturday 23rd and is making it an extended holiday for him and his family.
We have agreed on a price (basically his normal charge plus cost for his plane ticket on the day). So now David is a happy camper. Fingers crossed it might all happen before my birthday. |
Too easy, I wish mine went that smoothly....Good luck with the engineer.
