Want a 302

Hi all,

Just chasing a 302 engine. For re build. Non EFI...

trularin 01-25-2010 07:40 AM

Hey there. I do not know how much it cost to ship, but you can have the BBF I have in the barn. It is an FE. It needs a rebuild, but I understand it has walls that will allow it to be a 428.

Give me some coin to crate it.

:D

Trularin

I remembered you had that.

Thanks mate but I want a re builder 302 for a project I have.

No problem, they are easy to just buy here, but I thought someone may have one I could buy here.

Nothing worse than buying one from a wrecker and finding out a forum member had one.

Just sent you a PM - the secret new project..

Merv and Sharon 01-25-2010 05:12 PM

Not another secret new project!!

BMK 01-26-2010 03:52 AM

Any small Fords laying around...

boxhead 01-26-2010 06:59 AM

Check the marina at Mt Gambier, they are probably holding some big boats in one spot :)

Sorry Bernie, I had to bite.

trularin 01-26-2010 08:08 AM

BMK, got your mail. Good on the son question, but I have two #1 sons'

One is draining my bank account at U of M and the other is draining it at Lawrence.

Relative to the new topic, I am selling the new book and designing car parts.

Your project sounds like it is going to be more for fun than anything else.

What else do you need for it?

And what about that red 40???? :D

Good to hear from you.

:D

BMK 01-26-2010 02:49 PM

Trularin,

Yes I am scanning the adds in the papers for an early Ford being wrecked, not that many. May just grab an EFI and strip it.

The GT40 is still in the garage here and I am doing up the interior at the moment with an upgrade on seat foam for comfort and back support - an ageing thing..

The new XR8 ute is getting some upgrades also - Mmm don't you just love Fords.

I thought Eric was the number one boy, that's what he told me anyway..

Take care. Talk soon. Will PM

Bernie

I was down at Port McDonnell during the week as my youngest daughter is living on a farm property there. I was caught looking around the barn and shed on the farm by her partner. I had to come with a quick excuse showing interest in his tractors..

Her partner has a large sheep and cattle farm between Mt. Gambier and Port McDonnell, I thought the barn would be worth a look..%/.

Port Mc is about 15 minutes south of us. It is the fishing and lobster capital of Australia, with dozens of boats there, but petrol power is unknown there..

Whats laying around there... No Mopar stuff though..

Those Fords at the bottom of the harbour could be brought up and re-started at least. Not so ally Chevvies ...

boxhead 01-26-2010 05:01 PM

Hi there Bernie, I know a couple of Ford guys out here so I can ask around for you.
Is it a Windsor you want or Clevo?

Rob. Smith 01-27-2010 01:53 AM

G'Day Bernie,
What about a DART block ? alloy and NEW !

BMK 01-27-2010 03:26 AM

Mmm yes today I have been looking at a crate motor after doing some sums.
