Hey Bernie!

Bernie

I went to a little car show here with the Mustang on the weekend about a mile and a half up the street. There were some pretty cool cars indeed and here is the link to my rather amateur photos:

There was even a non Tupperware Cobra! :)

Have fun at the GP

Mulv,

Was about to ask was the show in your back yard.. then read it was up the street. Looked like your garden there..

How is the Doc's collection looking these days..%/

Been quite here concentrating on work. Just started a new build over in Portland Victoria.

Went up to the Shelby fest on the weekend and ended up a little burnt - open Cobras do it every time..

The GT40 is in the garage and I am still working on it. Doing the interior on it now.

The Mustang is getting a few dress up bits including the GT pipes through the rear panel. I am also adjusting the roof as it is electric and does not seal right - just a minor adjustment of mechanism and the window winding frames.

I am working Todd pretty hard at the moment..

It will keep him out of trouble, hahaha. They all think that money is aquired through luck and timing - they gloss over the hard work part :) Good for Todd, he is a super guy. He should be able to support you in style during your retirement at this rate. I owe you some photos, I'll snap them tomorrow..

There is another collection you need to see when you are over - the largest collection of Zagato bodied cars in the world. That Bertone Aston and the beautiful little Maserati are owned by that guy as well.. he is evidently not starving...

You are most welcome. The stunning part is that all of the cars were driven there. That Maser and the Aston came 20 miles on the Freeway with the traffic! I do not have that sort of courage (or ducats ) to take such a risk..

Mmmm great to see I am not the only one who is working at this silly hour. Mmm it is mid day there though Mulv...

Actually it was 10 in the morning. I understand that you met an aquaintance of mine from the plastic car forum (the cars without the boot so you can tell they are not Cobras) that drives a 60's Corvette when he was down at the Mt.Gambier shop - Stewy Allison? He said you humbled him with your GT40 - what a shock ;)

BMK 04-02-2010 04:45 AM

Yes where do you know Stewy from?

All good here. Yes getting on with the GT40

Mulv

I get into LAX Tuesday and will go straight to Palm Springs. Look forward to seeing you there.

Bernie
